We just finished up working on a large scale website redesign project with the Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI). This project involved going through over 1000 pages on their old site and creating a new intuitive way of finding the information.
We started by creating a list of the main publications that are on their site: books, journals, conference material, magazines, press releases and articles/white papers. We then made sure there was a checklist that mapped out where each of these new pieces of content where go on the site and which audience it fell into (food, drugs, tobacco, cosmetics etc…). The end results is a great looking website with easy to find information…all with the goal of boosting membership and publication sales.
